The South Essex Breast Screening Service will be inviting women residing within a postal code SS1 ,SS2 and have a NTDD during August 2024 to March 2025 for their routine breast screening.

Your local NHS Breast Screening Service is fast, free and can diagnose breast cancer early
The NHS Breast Screening Programme invites all women from the age of 50 to 70 registered with a GP for routine breast screening every 3 years. Some women may not have their first screening mammogram until they are 52 or 53 years old.
Women aged 71 years and over can self-refer themselves for a mammogram every 3 years.
Women who are due for their routine breast screening living in Southend (Postcode – SS1 or SS2) will receive a mammogram appointment to attend Warrior Square Car Park Breast Screening Mobile Unit
